About this artwork

Artemis II was the first crewed mission beyond low Earth orbit since Apollo 17 in 1972. Commander Reid Wiseman took this photograph through Orion's window just after the translunar injection burn: Earth eclipsing the Sun, two auroras glowing at opposite corners, zodiacal light fanning out below. On your wall, lit, it looks exactly like what it is: Earth as seen by the first crew to leave it in fifty-three years.

Powered by CoreGLO™, the image glows the way the art was meant to be seen. Colors true to the original photograph, the auroras holding their green against deep space black, light that belongs to the image rather than washing over it.

Luminous Wall Art Panel
