Why most backlit things look washed out
Poster, sign, or lamp: the usual way to light acrylic is to blast a translucent sheet from directly behind, so the whole surface glows at once.

How CoreGlo works, part one
The light comes from the edge
CoreGlo has two halves. The first is the light: instead of blasting it through the whole sheet, CoreGlo moves light inside the acrylic and lets it out only where the image needs it.
1. Injected from the edge — light enters from the edge of the panel, never from behind it.
2. Carried by the acrylic — total internal reflection carries it across the panel.
3. Released, evenly — tuned so each part gets exactly the light it needs.

How CoreGlo works, part two
The image is the surface
For our wall art, we pair CoreGlo with a second technology: a UV-cured acrylic print. The image is cured directly into the acrylic. No paper, no film, no laminate to yellow, peel, or fade.
The two work as one: the print decides where CoreGlo's light comes through the panel. That's exactly why your blacks stay black and the color stays true.
Light shaped by the print, so the parts that should be dark never get lit. That's the whole game.
